In the next few
minutes, we will attempt to explain the psychic powers at work in our world
today and the origin of the psychic power. Indeed all of our futures can be
suggested to us if we allow ourselves to be taken in by this powerful power. It
does truly exist.
First of all you must learn
where the source of these psychic powers come from. The source of this psychic
power has existed since the beginning of time, and will be around with us till
the end of time, as we know it. You will be very surprised to learn the origin
of this power.
Just stop and think for a minute, and ask yourself this question? Who has been around at the beginning of time and who will be around at the end of time? Who knew the beginning from the end? If you would have said God you would be right. But God in His Word tells us we need not know the future, we need only to trust in Him. If God does not tell us our personal future, than who? The true answer is the forces of evil, yes, Satan and his demons. Satan is the author of deception. Often times he comes to us as an angel of light. You are probably saying to yourself, "It can't be. There can't be any harm in consulting a psychic. It is nothing but harmless fun. I am just trying it on a whim."
Some of you are just talking to a psychic for the heck of it and some of you are basing your life on these psychic experiences. Often time’s psychic predictions never come true and many times they may come true. Satan also knows our past and makes a very good guess at our futures. He hears everything we say and sees what we do. It is very important to know the source of these powers. Your eternal destiny may depend on it. Trust in the Lord Jesus with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path (Proverbs 3:5). You are probably thinking to yourself, "There they go, quoting the Bible! The Bible is nothing but an out dated book that was written thousands of years ago. It can't be talking to me today in my time. We are so modern and advanced in my world. Besides the Bible was written by so many different men so very long ago. They were just men."
The Bible really has just one Author, who is God the Father. Just stop and think! 40 different people, make up the Bible of 66 different books, in three different languages (Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic), over a period of thousands of years. Yet everything in the Bible corresponds with itself. God prophets separated by hundreds of miles and hundreds of years foretold events that have come true in the recent past and even now in our lifetimes. Only God could do this. A psychic of today may predict eight out of ten things, which may come to pass. You might think these are good odds, but a prophet of God must get ten out of ten right, 100%. Not one mistake can be made or they are not of God. They are of the evil one, Satan.
The purpose of creating the psychic alternative was to let believers of God, in particular believers in Jesus Christ, to know two things. That they grievously offend God by seeking after psychic, horoscopes, palm readers and tarot card readers. When they do, Satan has the right to trouble and curse them.
If you don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God, keep earnestly seeking God on whatever level you are on with all of your heart and soul. God will reveal the truth to you and guide you in all things over time through His word in the Bible.
God desires to have a personal relationship with you. God can be closer to you than any person on earth could be. He stands at the door of your heart continuously knocking. All you have to do is open the door and let Him in. If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead; you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This does not mean everything will be "A-OK" from that time on. You will still have trials and tribulations in your life, but you will have the knowledge of knowing that you have God to stand by your side, and get you through any situation, and that you will have His love through eternity.
